UV sterilizer breaking heater?

Ok so weird question

I installed a uv sterilizer (pentair 25 watt) per instructions. When I plug it in the alarm for my heater (helio ptc) instantly goes off code E3, E7, and sometimes other codes. If I unplug the sterilizer the heater works just fine. I’ve tired both surge protectors I have in the tank, both coming from different outlets, I’ve tired switching the plugs in all different configurations, I tried pulling and extension cord from another room and plugging in the sterlaizer. It instantly goes off. I moved the heater controller as far away from the sterlizer as I can and moving the temp sensor to the furthest spot away in the sump.

Any ideas??

Have you checked for stary voltage being introduced into the tank from the UV? I have an aqua uv and it messes with my probe readings when it is on. This is a common issue with UV's
