UV Sterilizer Bulbs

Here in Canada, Pentair UV sterilizer bulbs are becoming hard to find. Most reef stores carry AquaUV bulbs. Can AquaUV bulbs be used in a Pentair UV sterilizer?

Any Manufactures bulb will work provided it is properly sized. I have a Pentair and an Aqua and am using generic bulbs off Amazon. Much cheaper than Pentair or Aqua and I haven't had one that was defective or burned out yet.

I just bought a used Pentair and it came with an Aqua bulb in it. I too am probably going to go with the cheap amazon bulbs when I replace it.
