So satisfying. I’m doing small areas with my weekly water changes. Just getting back started on these after a hiatus due to some tank issues. I hope they are as satisfying to watch as they are to perform!

I expected to see whorls and whorls of dark cloud coming from the bottom, clouding up the tank, not so. wow that's good it really is, never seen a siphon work like that so cleanly. that's a useful video for others to pattern

Where did you get that tube? So much better than the long wider ones that don't have enough velocity.

I just got one of these tubes - works so much better than the short one I had before which always got clogged up.
The longer tube allows the sand or crushed coral to be sifted nicely.
They come in different sizes so choose accordingly.

The long tube is key to get that much agitation going without getting sand stuck in the hose. This one is 4 feet. It’s one of the available attachments from Python. I picked up mine from BigAls (chain store in Canada). Of note though I do attach it to my sink faucet and run both the hot and cold at full blast to create that suction.

Is the tube 1" or 2" diameter?

iPad won’t play it :(
Just tried it on my iPhone and my MacBook with no luck. These videos only seem to play on my PC.
Here are some pics instead.

I thought they were storm messes when it all dropped back down

Im mesmerized by the no cloud escape back down, he's entranced above from the grains colliding like a wax lamp you've basically got video gold there every man can find appeal.

the whole time Im thinking you'll cloud your tank with cyano fuel,

now.

no now.

wait for it...well
