I have the M1. I love it.

For $350 return pump. I fully expected a slip fitting for the hose. PIA I had to go out and get one. That said I would still use the pump, but now I know I need to buy it separately.

I installed my L1 today, and it is truly silent.
When I hit the power switch and the controller lit up, I thought there was something wrong. I couldn't hear anything.
Nice to see this video.

Can someone make a video of how it actually connects to hard and soft tubing. I want to hard plumb my tank with this pump and I thought the blue fittings were basically built in unions that quickly sealed and let you disconnect the pump if needed.

Plumb it the way you would do any other pump.
EcoTech sells pvc fittings that are BST/slip. The threads on the blue fittings are British Standard Threads, which are a little different than the ones that are used with fittings we find at HD and Lowes, etc.
I also heard they will be coming out ( if not already) with a hose barb fitting too.
You could probably find them if you knew someone ( or a place) overseas.

I also love my Vectra! I have never thought I wanted or needed a controllable return pump but now that I have one I won't look back. This pump is very, very quiet. I can't hear it at all really.

really want to buy one but one problem I have is that a need a fitting fro British to American .
the reason I say that is because if I don't I would have to redo my manifold.
unless someone knows where to get the fitting I need

They have the BST to American slip on the EcoTech website.
I used the one for the return.
