Somehow vermentid snails snuck in my tank. So about 4 months ago I started fragging everything and slowly moving things over to a clean frag system. I’ve seen a few pop up on plugs but I handle them from there.
Everything is in my frag system now and handling snails there. They are few and far between.
My main display is totally stripped and running unheated RO water. I was thinking 3-4 days of that would be enough to kill any that are in my pluming and equipment? Or should I do something else? They seem super hard to completely eradicate.
Want to make sure they are dead. I have rock that’s been cycling in a tote for 6 months or so. Then I’m going to reverse the process. With new rock, new sand and frag out of my frag tank with new plugs and place in my display. Will go at a rate of 4-6 frags a week. First to a rack then later to a rock.
Am I missing anything? Should I do more? Living with them is not a option for me. Fragging is a big part of the hobby for me, so I have zero tolerance for pests. These seem like the hardest pest to deal with by far.
