Here's a pic of some hitchhikers on a piece of my live rock. There are red fan worms, sponge, and a turkey wing bivalve.

Since @Daniel@R2R posted pics of vermetid snails, maybe the OP can determine which hitchhikers he has. I agree with @Bryson.bobby that the 2nd pic is spirorbid worms. They can easily be scraped off the glass.

Agreed with what peeps said about the pictures. I don’t think any of those look like vermitid snails I’ve seen. They may be a different species. The small white things are definitely spirobids. Not sure what the long white thing is. Maybe a worm, maybe even a sponge depending on what it looks like in water. Do you have anything that looks different than the pictures you posted? You may still have vermitids somewhere.

I just put superglue on the top of my vermidis’ tubes so they can’t eat and die off. Just don’t want to kill them all at the same time cause ammonia... lol

Looks like I have the fan worms & sorbed worms in the 240 not the vermited. If the vermited are never the longer curly white shell, I had some vermited in the 40 on some bi color candy cane I got from the lfs & thought the white shells where younger version & the sorbed was baby vermited. I did the remove the candy cane from the 40 & used the mid evil method, of cut & scrape every spec off the frag in a separate container of tank water that was recommended in the I'd thread when I got those & seen them spitting webs all over the frags & haven't seen any more of those in the 40 sense then.

Here is a picture of a bigger one there are tons of tiny ones on the glass all of a sudden I think I will try what you suggested and see if I can beat them back to a manageable level thanks for the input.
