Hi all!

I’ve got a frogspawn colony that has a few heads that are upset. I noticed a vermited snail tube and net out.

Does anyone have tips to get rid of them? I’ve seen gluing their tube, Kalking their tube, breaking them off etc.

Specially these ones are on the stalks of the frogspawn.

I used my tongs to grab the net and ripped it off, but looking for a better action plan.

Just grab as close to the base as possible (ideally with some sort of pliers/cutters, though I'll use my fingers sometimes too) and yank. The other methods are imprecise and can make a mess IME. It won't eradicate but will keep them in check.
