Versa dosing hydroxide

Is anyone using ecotech versa pumps to dose sodium hydroxide? If so, is your tubing connector the newer opaque plastic connectors?

Im specifically interested in the longevity of the opaque tubing assembly (newer replacement version, unknown material).

Hydroxide just deteriorated the clear older style tubing connector on my versa and I've replaced it with the new opaque connector.

Ecotech support states that "lower concentration hydroxide solutions should work with versa tubing". When asked directly about the type of connector plastic, they would not tell me.

What dilution level of sodium hydroxide are you using? Unless the tank is huge or the dilution level is low, it doesn't seem like you would need to use a doser? In industrial settings, I use commercial chemical dosers for 50% or higher sodium hydroxide.

It's a 2.46M solution and I'm dosing about 90ml continuously into a 150g reef. Keeps pH elevated even though the tank is in a basement. There seems to be a similar thread about hydroxide breaking the old style clear versa connector assembly. Hopefully they fixed this with the new tubing assembly material. Ecotech customer service just earned themselves a mean frowny face review.
