Well this arrived yesterday. Im pumped, bio pellets aid in BB growth right? I have being soaking them overnight. Going to switch out my Dr tims bio pearls (what a joke) for this stuff from brs. But could they me more vague on the amount need per 25 gallons. 50 to 200 ml. Hahahaha. Oh and dont overdose it says. How would that happen given the accuracy of the amount needed. Lol... 50- 200 ml per 25 g. Omg. Good luck to me and my 175TG tank. Suppose to be 50 ml of product. So its just enough to do my tank at the bare min req. of 50 ml

1g = 4 liters
100 /4 liters =25 g
50ml (bare min) per 25 g,
175/25= 7
7 x 50 ml = 350 ml
350 ml = 11.83 oz.
Product weight is 14.5 oz
7 oz of product per reactor.
Math seems solid to me.

I have two empty and running BRS reactors and plan on putting 7 oz of this in each one, that should give me a good tumble or should i just put them all in one reactor? Also has anyone used these, or heard anything about them.

I am the first to admit that there are many ways to run a great tank and I usually don't try to talk people into or out of using one or another method of nutrient control. Having said that, I have used biopellets in the past and I definitely wouldn't recommend them. They are really just not needed and can cause imbalanced nutrient levels or too low of nutrient levels. I think you would be better off turning those two reactors into algae scrubbers. Buy some 5k led bulbs or some of those plant grow led strips to wrap the reactor with and put some chaeto in there. I think you will be much happier in the long run.
