Vertex dosing pumps

I'm going to buy the new vertex dosing pumps soon and I want to see if anyone is using the Japanese motors or the stumper motors. Please give me any feed back that would help me chose between the two pumps. Is it worth the extra cash to but the Japanese motors?

I've got the stepper motor. Works great. The other motor is for dosing in smaller increments.

Did you find they are easy to program?

It's very easy to program via the touchscreen. If you know the amout you want to dose per day you input the amount and over how what timeframe and it automatically doses throught your programmed timeframe. You can see how much it has dosed and hen next dose will happen. The hardest part was figuring out the mounting hardware. Haha. Mine came with no manual or cd.
