Just a thought, have you tested the alk of your new saltwater before it goes in the Tank ?

Yea Ive been using Red Sea blue bucket and it’s always right around 8-8.2

speaking of water changes, today is my normal water change day. Should I be doing water changes while I wait for this precipitation cycle to stop @Randy Holmes-Farley?

It's fine to do them or not in this situation.
