Look for a sanity check on two question from another L2 owner. Hopefully yours in need of a cleaning as this will require disassembly to answer
1st question has been confirmed by ecotech but would still like to confirm with someone else. If you blow air into the hole noted or blow air down the shaft back where the impeller sit do you get air retiring out the other. 2 of my 3 pumps do so and what ecotech confirmed should be the case. My third seems to blocked which I now need to try and resolve
2nd if your pump sit in the sump. submerged under water once out and dried off with no impeller in it. Can you shake your aggressive back and forth and tell me if you hear water swishing at the very back of. not all through out but at in like the back 1/2 of the body. When I turn the pump so that the impeller shaft is facing down and shake it, I still hear all the water at the top and is not falling to the bottom, so I’m thinking it’s just trapped. Hoping others answer yes to this lol. Happened to hear it when I was shaking it to try and loosen some of this blockage Thought I may have punctured something when I was snaking a pipe cleaner down the little hole to unclog. However I just pulled my other pump and can hear the same swishing in the back. Since it has not shorted anything want to believe the water is sqeezing past the cable into the housing and hopefully getting trapped between another wall that is fully seal behind.
Will note and ecotech rep told me this does not sound expected and I should send the pumps in to be looked at. Given both are doing that which would be and odd coincident I’m not gonna do that if others are hearing the same thing
