if vho's(very high output) at a 110 watts vs a t-5 ho( high output) at 54 watts---- which has more intensity? which has a better par rating? which produces less heat?

T5's are way more efficient and have more par, but VHO's will produce a "pop" that is unmatched by T5's

i'm going to be doing a combo, running 3 48" T5HO daylights, and 2 48" or 60" vho actinic's. the vho actinics just make the water thick with purple, giving that beautifull color i love

I just bought a 4 bulb T5 fixture, and I'm going to run 2 T12 VHO's with it once I get it up and running. I think the mix of both will be really nice.
