Think the poop stuff could be algae from your drain or in the overflow?

I'm thinking general detritus not just algae. I'm thinking skimmer drain. Or something. Odd it has a uniform like shape.Think the poop stuff could be algae from your drain or in the overflow?
These are longish videos but here's that strand with what looks like possibly bacteria work up and down

I am seeing this too. My cyno looks like it is feeding on the dying algae. Just added some PO4 absorbent and that seems to be helping.Since using vibrant ( stepped it up to Twice a week) my cyano seems to be increasing while all other algae is decreasing

Are you monitoring the No and Po daily or weekly?Day 7 2x doses @ 40ml total
Will dose the 3rd dose of 20ml tonight.
Didn't notice really any change tonight
My tank is not a good test for testing nutrients in the water. I feed a lot but my Nitrates consistently track under 5mg/l and phosphates always swing every day through out the day between .02-.09ppm. That hasn't changed through out this. Are you monitoring the No and Po daily or weekly?
@jason2459 have you considered adding vibrant to a cyano or hair algae sample directly? or diluted in proportion the the sample size and looking at a reaction?
normal with margin for test error. a spike to .25 woulf be notable.swing every day through out the day between .02-.09ppm.
I agree but they (po4) actually do swing daily, not just attributed to test error, and I can consistently track that change through test kits and just as reliably watching my duncan. It hates shifts if PO4.normal with margin for test error. a spike to .25 woulf be notable.
theory being cyano will feed on dissolved Po and no or dissolved organics. so an increase could be fuels by the swing or organics
