vibrant safe with seahorses?

I have dwarf ponies, and the tank's gained some algae and byprosis. It's about a 3 gallon tank, and I am wondering if a few drops of vibrant will be OK in this tank with the ponies? I've been manually pulling the algae but I can't keep up with it anymore.

if not, any suggestions what to do to eliminate the algae with the ponies in mind? Water changes and reducing light schedule's been happening. I have some snails in the tank as well, but they've been really lazy and I believe it's because the water's on the colder side for their liking.

I have snails, but they've barely been moving. I think 70 degrees is too cold for them and they don't do anything

I guess Vibrant is an option (used sparingly). I haven't observed any negative aspects on wildlife in my larger system.

I used it… but I found
loads of softies will delay a funky tank esp. with messy seahorses …..
