In this video we walk you through the different types of live rock/dry rock you can use when setting up a saltwater aquarium. We also give you some ideas on how to arrange the rock and what to keep in mind when starting a new aquascape. Some of the topics we cover are live rock, dry rock, aquacultured rock, cured rock, wild harvested rock, hitchhikers, liferock, real reef rock, saver rock, nitrifiying bacteria. - WATCH

❤ Pro Tips
1. The more places your fish have to hide, the less they will.
2. Live Rock can contain unwanted pests. Use dry man made rock to start.
3. Leave room along the back of the tank for fish to swim.
4. If you need smaller pieces of different size pieces of rock, hulk smash.

Rock is one of the choices to be made upon new setup and how and where to place them. We often scape and a few months down the road get an urge to relocate but often don't because we have begun placing frags and others on them.
Rock is huge consideration whether reef or Fowlr
