Thanks guys. I have an old Gen-X pump that is still going after 20+ years. I do have a new spare. Will it have issues when I end up using it? It is likely 10+ years old in the box. Thanks
This is really a great video for people trying to figure out what return pump size they need and how to figure it out.
It is an external pump. The honest answer is... it is impossible to say for sure. Clean that baby up, give it a test drive in a bucket and let us know how it goes!
Thank you very much for watching and for your kind words, Rev. We are certainly pleased you found this video so helpful. :D We decided we'll build a head pressure calculator on our website soon to make finding the right pump even easier!
This is the original pump(Gen-X) that is still going after 20+ years.( area dressed up since this pic) I would have to swap the spare to test it or build a test setup. I was hoping for a different answer but you confirmed what I was thinking as well. thank you for replying back to me. Great Post. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D (spare is like brand new and has never come out of the orig. box):cool::cool:It is an external pump. This is the original pump(Gen-X) that is still going after 20+ years.( area dressed up since this pic) I would have to swap the spare to test it or build a test setup.
