Just curious which free software are you guys using for editing videos?

I have PS CS6 that has video capabilities, but just asking if something is more user friendly and free to do basic editing.

Thanks everyone

Premiere is simple enough if you already have creative cloud. If not you can use editshare lightworks which is free and basically the same thing.

Thanks a lot for the kinds words, i really appreciate it.

Equipment:
Camera is Nikon DSLR D7100
Lenses used are Nikon DX 28-105mm VR and Nikon DX 85mm Macro VR (for close ups)
Tripod legs are Manfrotto 190x
Ballhead is a photography ballhead (Manfrotto) as well. It has a panning 360 degree head but not the full features of a video head.
I used to do a lot of phonography over the years but now starting to play with video.

Thanks again for the encouraging words about the tank and the video :)

This is my first video trial. I know that focus looks a bit soft. Let me know what you think please :)
Great video. Thanks for sharing.

After a long, difficult search (a few months ago), I found this article : https://www.xp-pen.com/forum-1595.html
In that list you will find 18 programs with a short description and Pros & Cons for each one of them.
You read that information, you analyze the Pros & Cons of each suggested program and then you pick one to check it out and get a feel for it.
I've been using Shotcut for some time now and find it more intuitive than many paid for apps. Yes, that means Shotcut is completely free and there are numerous tutorials and examples on YouTube.
Do give it a try, you may well never look back. I haven't.
