Vinegar versus Bleaching Socks?

The one on the left spent 3 days soaking in 3 parts vinegar 1 part water.
The one on the right spent 3 days soaking in 1 part bleach 3 parts water.
Personally I'll continue using bleach to clean my filter socks :)

I use bleach for my socks but I give them a second rinse without, never had a problem
