I was planning on buying a vlamingii tang but i'm not to sure about the tank size.Some websites say 100g some say 300g.

300 at least ..... and it’ll outgrow even that. Not just that the V gets length, it gets GIRTH. I took in a 14” rehome last year in my 450. Holy smokes what a beast. Tank too small LOL. My eventual retirement tank will be a 12’ 1,500 - that’ll fit a V.

I have one in a 220 and it just keeps growing. I would pass on the fish, mines not aggressive but just too big to move around in a 220 and would say a 300 would even be too small.
