Im back after taking a 3year break when my little one was born.
Things were just to busy to look after a reef tank as well.

So now here i am with another 6month year girl and thinking it will be easier with 2 kids and a reef tank. Hahahahhah

But lets TRY...............

So I bought back my pico that I had in 2020 from @Christo
Its a 300 AIO CUBE built by @RealReefer (builds some Really Really nico Nano Tanks)
Nice and dirty, but a quick vinegar bath and everything is clean



Added some water & heater and started it up and let it run.
I had about 10l of salt water & added additional 15L of RO water for now. Will let it run like that untill I get to a reef shop for some more salt.
Cycling can start at 1.013-1.018SG so should be okay for a week or so. hahahahah

I think im going to do a BAREBOTTOM this time around and see how it goes...................
Im wining it HARD this time around and will be adding SPS soon as I cant wait. Nothing happens fast except a crash, but im going against my own judgment.Hahahahahah

Got a few ACRO reserved at @NicScaff and will pickup in a few weeks.

Im personally leaning towards option 1, it was the original idea.

But im also liking SCAPE 3, just does not have alot of space to clean glass

I decided to go with my initial idea & did the arches one.
I also decided im goint to add substrate as i need the extra surface for bac, every little bit of help is needed in this small water volume. hahahahahah

This is the BIG debate with the my innerself as well.
I really want a FLAME PRAWNE GOBY again, but they not coming into south africa much anymore.

Other than that, prob a pair of Designer Clowns, sand sifting goby and maybe a tail spot blenny. But that is prob my limit on fish.

Im going after the SPS REEF, so fish need to have a purpose. Any suggestion are welcome

So I had an idea to create green area around the tank and make it feel "jungly" hahahahah
Here comes copilot with a render for me with my tank and some addition.
I think it looks amazing and a little BOWL POND added as well.

Hahahahah im SLOWLY rushing into things this side.
Dosed a bottle of coppepods to help with the biom diversity and dosing phyto as well.

Few days after that I got myself 2 clown, yesterday i tood a risk and got a little acro frag because the tank is just boring without corals.

Ill uoload an update foto tomorrow if i get a sec. Hehehhehe

11 July:

Royal Blue channel is dead on the Prime.

SO the SPS plan is broken now, light is forcing me to take things slow.

Ill have to save some money for a new light and that will give the tank some time to mature.

RIP
