The magnets dont care unless they are sticking to eachother.

You want to be more concerned with flow and any dead spots.

I have my MP60 and MP40s about 14” apart without issue. Could probably go much closer, not sure why I’d need to though. The 60s are seriously strong.

Mines a 150 gallon, only 2by2 feet of space to work with, given the rock work i have , there about 8 inches apart

Once in place they are not going to move at all. Take some care when removing for cleaning.

Ok. I thought if they were too close the magnet from one could interfere with the other
