Im currently running 4x Jebao RW15 in my tank but would like to switch to something with more controllability with my Apex.

Tank Dimensions: 96"Lx30"Wx25"H

Glass thickness is 1/2"

Which vortech pump would you recommend and how many? Tank will mostly consist of SPS with a few LPS, Zoas, and mushrooms

I would use at least 4 mp40's one on each side and 2 on the back wall.
I have 2 mp40's on my 120 and love them.

Go with the Gyre XF-150. [emoji41]
I just pulled my Gyre 150 out of the tank after running it since xmas.
Diminished flow, PITA to clean, and now broken fins.
So took that out and put my Mp60 back in tonite. So much for that little experiment!

Why are you guys suggesting 40's for a 96" long tank? Think the 60" are too much?
At what point would you say the 60 is worth using?

I don't have any experience with the 60's and it's a little to big for my personal taste (I'm sure they are awesome bc I love my 40's), if money is not an issue maybe 2 60s and 2-3 40s in the back.

Im sure its worth it on the 96L tank
