Looks good. Voss bottles are perfect as dosing containers I think. I use them but added a fitting to the lid so I could use rigid ro tubing on the inside and cut so it's just above the bottom of the bottle.

Good idea where did you get the barb fitting I was looking for some 1/4 Ro pushfit fitting to barb adapter.

I got them from Avast Marine. The barb is 3/16 and the tubing is tight going on so I just dipped it in hot water for a minute before installing. The 1/4 inch barbs that BRS and other places sell are too big.

Typical airline tube is 1/4 OD by 3/16 id if you search stem to hose adapter with those dimensions you'll find them. They sell them in 10 packs for about 20 bucks. Sometimes small hardware stores that have a lot of John guest fittings will have them as well but you'll be paying five bucks a fitting if you get them there

Thanks for the info. The id for the redsea dose lines is 3mm I checked out john guest for them but I cannot see a matching hose Id of 3mm/1/8 I might get a 5mm-3/16 I think the redsea line will stretch over it.

It will with a little hot water. And you won't have to worry about it coming off by accident.

Not sure why the pic ended up in the quote :thinking-face:
