It's very unusual to hear about a coral that "walks" on the beach, and by beach, we mean the sand of your aquarium! One of the most unique corals you will ever find! This coral gets it’s name literally from the “walking” movement of this coral in your aquarium. There is a worm that lives in the bottom of this coral in a very small hole. The worm will “walk” this coral slowly around your tank in search of organic material to feed upon in the sand bed of your tank. The coral provides protection for the worm and the worm serves to keep the coral upright as well, thus their symbiotic relationship. These do not come in very often from Australia and are fascinating to see just where they'll end up!
