I suppose this belongs here?

I know they say not to over feed the coral side of this duo but it is REALLY good at catching food when I feed the fish. Does anyone know what happens if it eats too much? Will it spit the excess out or does it cause rot/infection? This might be the only piece the CUC seems to steer clear of when it comes to stealing food.
