I’m getting ready to have a new dedicated circuit installed to just service my new 330 gal that is on the way. In my previous set up, the stand was blocking the outlet so I used a GCFI plug adaptor to make it easier to access the plug and provide some protection at the same time. I might do this again but I’m thinking of also having a recessed outlet box installed to help protect the outlet from any splashes. The tank and stand will be in a recessed niche so there will not be any access from the sides.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
