Okay so I had a friend tell me this was poison and not to use it anymore in my reef
-I have used it for years!!
-never caused skimmer problems
Who else uses this in their cups or media reactor?

He said that it was bound to have harmful chemicals in it that will leech of into the tank, I said that I have used it for years and never seen any side effects what so ever.
It’s described as chemical free ‍… insert shrug emoticon here

I’ve used it for 2 years without a problem.

I'd like to know the basis of your friend's opinion. I've been using Polyfil for years without issue.
