i just did a par mapping of two nicrew gen 2 150s in max ab mode over a 60lx25hx20w tank with a glass canopy, if you think that will help you decide, LMK, i'll post it.

Yes please! I am looking at that for my 48x16x16 tank. Trying to decide between the 150s and 200s so I don’t have to keep max settings

Another vote for Nicrew. I have a 4ft 120 as well, Id throw 2 200s on it with a controller. I have 1 200 sandwiched between 2 XR15s that came with the tank. If I ever find a buyer for the radions Ill sell them and get a 2nd nicrew 200. Way better lights.

Do you think two Nicrew 200/ on your 4ft tank could easily handle SPS and is it noisy at all? Curious what settings you use.

Easily handle SPS. Ill see if i can make a quick before and after of some of my sps growth. Not noisy, though the first batches of them were supposedly, but they were fixed and if you have a first batch one theyll send the new fan and its easy to swap Ive seen. I run the blues at 100%, white at 25%, red and green at 5 or 10 cant remember, 2 hr ramps, 12 hrs a day.

My Nicrew 100 with 90 degree reflector is lighting up an approx 20"x16"x16" space and is more than enough for my LPS clam tank. In your tank, I am sure that two Nicrew 200s would each handle 24" L x 16" W x 16" D with ease and allow you to tune down the lights. SPS shouldn't be a problem. Under my 100, which recall is much lower PAR than a 150 or 200, I get 200-250 PAR where I have my squamosa clam on top of the rocks and 100-150 on the sand bed running 85V/85B/40W/40G/40R (I like a whiter spectrum). That is with a PARwise, which reads lower than an Apogee. I think you could easily hit 350-500 on the rocks with a 200 and 90 degree reflectors. My opinion! Would love to see data :-)

I heard they need a specific 2.4ghz channel to connect through wifi tho
Honestly, I had no issues. I my WiFi broadcasts both 5ghz and 2.4ghz and it was a breeze to setup. www carries nicrew and I seen them in person there. They are good nights, but the pop blooms offered more features with a little bit higher par numbers.
