Wanting to purchase a conductivity meter. What type/brand do you recommend?

Hey everyone,

after 3 months and multiple broken sumps, i finally got my tank somewhat started. This time, I am very interested in getting quality measurements, starting to salinity. Ive been reading and researching multiple brands, use of standards etc. I am just about ready to pull the trigger on a meter, but wanted to check in and get some feedback form those who might have used the below types.

Here are two that I have looked into. Im very interested in feedback regarding conductivity, brands and even standard that you recommend.

1- Hanna Meter

okay...so thats a good start. Do you like your Hanna meter? Any regrets?

I do like it, I use it very often. I have not used a refractometer, so I can’t compare. Someone who has will probably give their .02

For the price and accuracy I'm sure you will find many more people use this instead of the one you posted. I absolutely love mine. So quick and easy...
