War Coral Has Turned White, any tips?

So I have a piece of war coral, currently it is maybe a 4" circle. I've had it for four or five years, this was all I could chip off and save when I upgraded tanks, the last one was the size of a salad plate.

Anyways, when I bought it the coral was red and white swirls with green mouths, now it is all white with green mouths. In the new tank it seems to be getting a tiny bit of the red back along the edges where there is new growth but it shows up only under the actinics.

Parameters are all good (Ca at 400 ish, Alk at 8.0, temp at 78.5), Par level is around 100-150, which is down from 200-250 as the tank is deeper than the old tank but I haven't bought new lighting yet.

Any thoughts on how I fix its color?

Try some zooxanthellae from phycopure and some amino acids

I was thinking it could help it gain color back. I thought bulk reef supply said that WWC doses amino acids when their corals lose color. The zooxanthellae may help it recover faster as it helps to provide bleaches coral with their symbiotic friends to color them back up.

You might want to see if any of the folks in the LPS section can help.

If nothing else I’d feed it as much as possible. It’s obviously bleached so food will help it along until it rebounds on its own.

Any way to get this thread tossed into that forum (LPS?)? My understanding is that food is primarily protein which is amino acids so i've never dosed aminos, I just get more fish and in the past, that has helped. But this coral has been around for quite some time.
