Is it always 0.1 M HCl?

What are you trying to get off it?

KCl is not a cleaning solution. It is a filling solution.

If you just want to rinse, diluted seawater is fine.

HCl not KCl according to the linked SDS above. These products are actually sold as cleaning solution (maybe to get rid of CaCO3 residue or so?)

Sorry, not sure why I read Koty's post as KCl on my phone, but certainly, yes, HCl is a standard cleaning solution that I also use if needed to remove suspected CaCO3 deposits. I don't think the concentration is at all critical, though I would not use concentrated HCl.

Got the Milwaukee Pen pH51 to test my tank.
Fauna Marin ICP claimed my pH was very low. Just tested at about 16:00 and it was 8.0.
The pH of a sample used for ICP will probably be low due to bacterial activity on the organic matter in it over 1-2 weeks.

All good. Happens to the best of us :)

Yes, I would not take as useful the pH of a sample that had been closed for an extended period.
I don't even know why they offer a pH reading. What's next? Temperature? :D
