Hi

I’m in the process of upgrading tank… just got to finish the scape then fill with water…

Just discovered a watch better in the tank, rusted a bit etc….
No idea how it got there.

Have lost some fish over the last few months but put that down to moving house and new sand bed…

Obviously this could by the reason why…

Is it still ok to use some of the rocks in the new set up or would you scrap it all? Don’t want to risk it if the rocks have become contaminated.

Was going to use some for the refigium and odd one in the main display.

you could submit a water sample to ICP for analysis. That way you would know for sure.

I agree but would take to long want to strip it down next week.. What about running extra carbon till then? Or again just don’t use the rock?

No it's for metal contaminants like rust you only run it 3 or 4 days.

Polyfilter is another option for metal binding.
