Water box 7225 Panel/Stand Quality

My family finally received out waterbox7225 Peninsula after a month or two of delay. I finally started to work on it and step 1 already am very upset on how the panels connect to the aluminum stand. It is almost impossible to screw in all screws that connect the side panels to the side of the aluminum stand as the screw holes are all slightly out of place. You have to do this a total of 4 times. 2 pieces each on each side. So far I can only get 4/5 screws in on side completely at the aluminum stands pre aligned holes are just slightly too long as the panel holes don’t match up. I have built quite a few cabinets/ stands whatever in my day and this is just not it. So far I will make do as the panels are structurally important and will roll with 4/5 screws however having read other threads hopefully this is the last of my problems. Excited for the tank otherwise.

I had the same issue with my WB6025. I also skipped two side screws because of alignment issues. I don't recommend it and wish I had not. Take the time to have them fix it. Those side panels contribute to its lateral stability. A large tank like this is a marathon, lack of patience today can turn into stupid problems later. These stands are pretty sturdy when built properly, but its not overdesigned to where you want to be leaving stuff out.

Three other tips. (1) Make sure your leveling feet are screwed well into the base. I look at mine and in hindsight I don't think I did. My stand is a little taller than what the specs list and I think this is why. Again seems fine...but you know...I have a nightmare occasionally about a foot buckling or something. (2) Use petroleum jelly and lube all the hardware once you are satisfied. I know all metal rusts but my hardware was unusable within 90 days. They sent me new ones but annoying...(3) tighten all bolts, even the ones factory installed.

The stand is...fine...I would have paid 10-20% more to have a stand that was overbuilt though...
