Water box skimmer 190

3 months old, blowing micro bubbles like crazy in my sump, I’ve adjusted water, I’ve adjusted air, it’s in 8.5” of water recommended by wb, cleaned it,I’m at wits end with this skimmer, is it junk, is it a good one, mediocre at best, I’ve left it alone 24hrs after adjusting. Please help.

I would raise the skimmer up. 8.5" seems too deep

Any luck with you micro bubble issue? I am struggling with the same problem.

I figured out my issue. The bubble plate has to be installed correctly. I had mine upside down. The skimmer was producing skimate, but blew bubbles out the pipe like crazy in the sump. The round solid playe side of the bubble plate should be facing the pump. Not sure if I read the directions wrong when I assembled it. Hope this helps someone.
