My question is can you do a water change to soon after doing one?

I was trying the no water change method and I am finding that it is not wise for my set up.

I just did a 15 gallon wc on my 40 breeder with a 30 gallon sump

The water was very dingy to say the least.

I finally have my skimmer tuned and pulling thick skim but I want to get to the crystal clear water . I plan on hooking up my carbon reactor tomorrow and possibly the UV light

I want to keep up on weekly water changes but can I do another in a few days or is that to soon

You could do another right now. Won’t hurt unless you are causing levels like alk to swing wildly. I’d you are matching that then it’s no worries.

Thanks. My Ned Red Sea test kit is coming today so I can test alk calcium and mag. My doser will be here tomorrow and I will using all for reef.

I have never got so into a reef like I have this time and my goal is to get into sps so I want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to make it a good setup
