Hey guys I just setup my first 75 gallon reef tank 6 weeks ago. When I do water changes I duct tape my rodi tubing to the inside of my trashcan and set a timer. I can’t seem to find a clip of some sort to replace the duct tape. Does anyone know of one?

Thank you! Happy to be here!

Yes it’s a 40 gallon brute trashcan. I kinda wanted to experiment with a clip for the first few water changes before I drill anything for a float but I think a float is the way to go. Thanks!

I'm sure something could be rigged or 3D printed at least temporarily, but after that a simple hole would allow you to use one of the above type of valves, that has been very reliable for me 🙂

Good luck!

I use this style of chip clip to hold a variety of hoses in a variety of positions while I'm working with my tank :)
(I even have one of my ATO hoses secured to the side of my tank with it :O)

Clip it to the side of the bucket/tank and thread the hose through the two holes and down into the bucket!
