How often should I perform water changes. I’m about 6 weeks in. Thanks
It varies. Most seeders will say once a week of 10% but there are others that do 20% every two weeks. All depends on your tank and it's individual needs :)

Don't think you can do too many; however, might want to keep track of water quality test results to measure effect of water changes on your parameters and set your schedule accordingly. Assume your tank is now cycled and your focus is on maintenance.

Can it harm my reef tank by having to many water changes ?
As long as your parameters stay stable, you can do as many water changes as you want. There are some people who has auto water change systems that change out a certain amount of waterr throughout the day. So long asnyour parameters are in check, change away :)
