Hey guys I just got my tank set up and has been cycling and I was curious of how to check for dead spots in current like is there something you can put in the water that won't hurt the fish? Or are dead spots not that important?

I use fish food. Also a turkey baster and blow the detritus off the rocks.

Why hello there again! Thank you very much for my 29 gallon tank is there a certain size powerhead I should go with?
HEY!
Look at the 240 and 420 Koralia, In Jebao look at the WP 10's
The wp's might be a bit strong depending on the dimension.s

I use the end of an old fishin pole with a piece of ribbon tied to the end. If the ribbon is waving around You have flow in that area.

Now I am not a nano person, but believe the Koralia 425 is not enough. I'd be looking at two, if not three Jebao PP4s.

What about a 520 nano that does 520 gph and eventually getting another one or two 425 gph

I say not even close! Watch Dana Riddles MACNA 2016 talk and you'll be putting an outboard motor in your tank to get flow. :D

What are the dimensions. In my old 30g stabdard I had a 2 240s and a 420. In my 30g cube 20x20x20 I have 2 Wp 10's (dana would be Proud), and in my 28 JBJ cube I had a single 420, it had 2 MJ1200's for the returns.
