Hello everyone,
I want to get lids for my Reefer 350+ATO 5gal as I fill up my 5 gallon ATO about every two -three days. I go through roughly 20 gallons every two weeks. Is this normal or am I going through water quicker?

Would purchasing lids for my 350 + ATO help slow down this rate?

It would help with evaporation but it will also place a barrier between your lights and your tank. My ATO reservoir is about 80 litres and I top it up for very 10 says or so.

I have a 180. I have an ato which I filled more often when I would leave one of the top sections open in the canopy to release heat. That was during the summer months as the house was maintained at 74. Winter months the house is at 70 and I close the vented section and the water temp doesn't rise due to the heat from the lights in the canopy since the house is cooler and the water evaporation is cut in half or more.

If the tank did not have the canopy then it would be a ridiculous amount of water. I love the canopy which houses the lights
