Hello,
So I bought the red sea test kit.
But I don't know how to read the result.
Is this enough to keep the soft corals or some easy LPS?
Also did I place the corals in right spots?
I don't have the par meter so I don't know if the placement was good or not.
The corals have been there for almost a month. Ow but they are not growing for some reason.
I am using micmol aa600 light and the tank dimensions are 30in L, 19in H,
Please let me know.
And how do I read the alkinitiny?
And my salinity is about 28

Thank you

I have used these tests, years ago. Nitrites look a little darker than .2 and a bit lighter than .5. So I guess your nitrites are .3 or .4.

Ammonia - a little hard to tell. I am leaning towards 0 or perhaps just a shade higher.

Nitrate looks like 2.

The pH test is a pain. The color on your vial is a redder hue than the test card. On that one I do not see any shade or hue progression. Maybe the card is messed up. So I would not even hazard a guess.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
