I just used my API test kit and my parameters read as followed:

PH - 7.8
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0

Do I need to add more of the api quick start to get ammonia in the tank so it can cycle? I did add some yesterday as soon as I set it up. I also have live sand added. Obviously these are the number you want but my tank is less than 24 hours old

If you want to start the cycle quicker I would recommend adding dr Tim’s ammonia or you can purchase ammonia from a grocery store but make sure it’s pure ammonia, Pure ammonia will not form bubbles after shaking.
