Hi folks. Moving from my aqua one 180 litre. Will use that one for quarantine or frags. Or maybe keep a couple of clowns.
New tank and a lot of the equipment is from Reef Lounge Aquatics. Excellent support and advice throughout the journey from Karim (many thanks).
Equipment list:
Waterbox 130.4;
Waterbox Platinum Reef Technical Specifications
Extras:
Kessil A360x x 2
Kessil ARM x 2
Pacific sun ATO
Reef octo 152-s
Aqua medic 300 watt
While waiting for delivery:
Wash sand (Samoa sand 1-2 mm 30 kg) many times takes ages.
Delivery of tank and extras:
Wednesday 15th July 2020
Unboxing - brilliantly safely packaged.
Cabinet superb quality. Fairly easy to build. Only criticism is poor instructions.
Tank on top (very heavy lift - used suction lifters)
Sump tank in place.
plumbing done. Needs two people one above one below. Difficult on my own to get screwed parts lined up. Took me ages.
Saturday 18th July 2020.
Wiring in a side cabinet. Will tidy wire runs later.
Sand added about inch and half.
Some rocks added more to add plus those with corals on from the 40 gallon.
Skimmer added.
.
More RO water needed and then add salt, to bring up to full level. Then a test of the electrics. Then another post to the tank build. Thanks if you read this so far.
Any questions or advice are welcomed.
