Hey All!

i have upgraded my waterbox 20 with an aquamedic dc runner 1.3 with a connection pressure side of 20 mm

the return bulk head looks to be about 15mm.

my plan is: pump -> 20mm pvc -> 20mm union -> 20mm pvc-> 20mm to 15mm reducer -> 15mm 90degree elbow -> bulk head

what is the best way to "glue" these fittings together to the pvc pipe?

the waterbox bulkhead looks to have notches on it for the original flex hose, should i be worried about not enough contact points?

have i calculated the correct sizes?

thanks!

As for your calculations/measurements, only yourself or someone with the exact plan can verify this :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: I could has a caliper to measure instead of a measuring tape but that's just my opinion.

As for glueing yor stuff together, PVC cement is your friend. Plenty of good tutorials on YouTube! Alternatively, think about how you can replace the rigid PVC pipe with a flexible hose; it will make your life easier.

Practice the PVC cement on some pieces you don't need first!
