Been a while and the tank is almost through the ugly stage. I did jump the gun and participate in a couple live sales. A few pieces of eye candy.

I’ll have more to update on in the next week or two as I’m waiting on some shipments to finish cable management, AWC system, gravity fed ATO.

How’s this going? You did beautiful work man, seriously good job. I’ve been wanting to get the 65.4 but wanted to see pictures... so far you are the only one who had some... think you could snap a side shot of the tank?

Going good!

In complete honesty, I did move things too fast out of excitement. First two fish I added (clowns) carried Ich into the system. (I’m a dummy for not QTing) which led to the loss of both clowns and a leopard wrasse. Only survivor of the outbreak was the resplendent anthias. In the next couple of weeks I’m going to pull him out and go fallow to eradicate Ich.

Reason I’m waiting is, I have a coral shipment coming in this week and will just about be the last round of corals for the significant future. I’ll be able to quarantine everything from here on out using an old nuvo 20 setup.

I’ll get some pictures for you later today from side shots.

Sad to hear about the ich issue. I will be following along too! I'm considering buying an AIO 50.3 or an AIO 65.4.

I'm curious if the two AI Prime16HD lighting units are sufficient for LPS/softies & a bit of SPS corals. Anyone with an AIO 65.4 that has been growing SPS corals? I've watched the BRS video about lighting with the Prime16HD's, and I'm unsure whether or not I would need a 3rd unit with regard to PAR requirements.

Apologies for double posting -but I have a rather specific question regarding the WB AIO 65.4 :)

I noticed that I could purchase the AIO 65.4 without a cabinet- saving 650€ (a 50% difference, when considering the no-lighting option). It happens to be that my little brother is a professional cabinet maker. Is there anything special to the WB Cabinet? I noticed that they cut out the back partially. May I ask if you could provide me with some clear photographs of the backside? (or the whole cabinet?). I'd rather not invest 650€ in something my brother makes in 2-3 hours.
Thanks in advance!

I can’t speak to the prime 16s since I’m running XR-15s but my guess is it wouldn’t be enough with just two.

I didn’t buy the cabinet or lights from WB. I couldn’t justify spending that much money for an MDF stand.

Thanks for the feedback. Goal is to update the first post in the thread in the next few days. Have been meaning to get organized...

overall things are doing pretty well. Hit a rough patch for a bit but on the mend now
Great to hear, I’ll be looking out for that update in the thread soon

Hate that I haven’t gotten the time to update in so long.

Finally beat dinos. Note to self in the future, run carbon! Think the toxins released by the dinos when dying did a number to all my gonis.

Just reloaded on the gonis though from the latest @calikidcorals and @Zoanthids live sales. Couldn’t be happier.

Looks great and this is with just 2 Radion xr15 blues or pros? Also what Gen?
