Waterbox infinia 230.6 lids

Dear users of the Waterbox Infinia 230.6, please recommend a protective cover for the top. Since they are expensive, I would like to hear your advice based on personal experience.

Thank you very much, I'm also looking at these lids. The price is steep, but given the cost of fish, there's no long-term option. For some reason, my wife's favorite clownfish made one yesterday, and she gave the green light. I'm also looking at Top lids, which are currently on sale for 12%

I have a Kraken as well on my 230.6. I haven’t had others, so can’t compare. What I like about the design is that it’s in three sections with a narrow section in the middle. Don’t have to take The while top off to feed or do something on the left or right of the tank. Also, the back section of acrylic is pretty wide allowing for modification if you change light arms or something.

They have a template and the only thing I added was feed ports on each front corner with a feed cup. I cut the holes for the lights myself as I didn’t know exactly where I wanted them when ordered. Here’s a pic.

I forgot, I did add 4 slots for wires in the back.

I read your build thread and really enjoyed it. The aquarium is awesome. I see you installed a reef mat. Are there any advantages to this model? Was the plumbing difficult to work with during installation?

Thanks, I'm glad you did. Not too bad to do. The Reef matt comes with some adapters that fit the plumbing. The biggest thing is with when you use a mat in there you bypass the back chamber of the sump. I wanted that back chamber as I like to run my heaters and probes back there. So what I did and add a second return pump and just circulate the water in the sump. No issues at all with the set up. I picked the RS 1200 because I already had it and it really work well. No complaints outside of the cost for the rolls which is pricey.

I don’t have that Waterbox but I’ve purchased Kraken for two different tanks and Toplids for a 3rd. Since I would use either in the future recommendation is they’re both great and get whichever has the better price and faster shipping.

I sent the dimensions. I do have two feed holes. I wish I would have put in a cut out for a plank auto feeder, but will do it myself
