Waterbox marine ex 60.2

Does anyone know if the EX version can have a fleece roller in place of the filter sock like the X version can. I have tried contacting waterbox to no avail and even tried asking on their Facebook page but no luck. Tha k you for reading thus far and hopefully someone can answer with their personal experience.

Waterboz finally got back to me but because how the sump it set up it cannot go in place of the socks but could be plumbed in but is not recommended. I ultimately decided to go with the regular x version

No problem. I didnt thinknit was going to take them as long as they did to get back to me. The other option would be to request a custom one and use an external overflow without the sound dampening sump

They made a new overflow... but for me thats a downgrade.... those tubes on the back.... horrible, horrible... will keep my marie x 110.4 purchase...

I’m looking at the waterbox EX 60.2 but I can’t find anything or really anyone using it online. What I want out of the EX is the upgraded stand and sump but the tank having external pipping isn’t ideal.

I could make it work if I needed to but my question is why isn’t anyone using this system. People just use the X version .

I did it successfully the one I found that fit was the Bubble Magus ARF-S. Just had to cut out the glass separator in the filter sock area and boom plumbed it in been great!
