What made you decide to get rid of the NYOS?

Just replaced my 300 with a Red Sea RSK 900 because I just couldn't handle the constant need for tuning after weeks of running it. Already the RSK 900 is running better than the NYOS ever did.

Pretty much the same reason you had. I tried for weeks to get the NYOS to skim properly, but could never get it to play nicely. The Deltec was a breeze, and skims like mad.

Looks great, I just picked up the 6026.

Do you feel the 5 radions is too much? I’m planning on putting 3 in a DX18 fixture and I thought that was a lot. I would assume you could do only 4 if you’re getting a lot of light spilling out.

Not sure if your looking for feedback so disregard if not..

But those flat rocks going across the top of the scape should be epoxied to the side of the structures, having the that flat top all across the top of the scape just makes it look plain with no depth or structure. Basically what you did on the very far right structure, just my 2 cents ;)

IIRC I think my old Radion bricks never ran as hot as my AI bricks, but check on them if you keep them stacked (like I did).

MY AI 26s kept blowing out until I realized how hot they were when stacked. Four of them blew in the first maybe 6 months before I knew something was up. Once hung and spaced I had no further returns.

Gorgeous tank!

I've had mine set up since January but I moved everything from my old 120 reef ready, I love the glass and the high quality build.

I use:
Aquatic life hybrid t5 fixture the 6' long one
2 black box LEDs running 60% blue
3 ai hydras 26 hd (have a 4th in mail)
2 mp40 running full blast reef crest
3 medium sized jaebos (plan on getting 2 gyres)

2800 gallon return pump running about 60%
Skimz skimmer
Refugium light off Amazon
Brs reactor running zeovit media
2 heaters set at 78-79 it fluctuates through the day

I'm not sure how much flow I need in this tank

Watchout for too much flow. Overtime you can weaken the integrity of your tank walls which can cause a blow out. As it stands you have a lot of flow already. Adding gyros can be dangerous overtime. They move a lot water with force. Tanks are not rocks in the ocean they can collpase.

I run 2 gyres and 2 MP40s on a 5 foot tank, but my livestock is mostly stony. Both are opposing flow, reefcrest equivalent at 60% otherwise my water sloshes out.

The Waterbox purchase experience was ok. Clearly the company is going through some growing pains, and communication was lacking at times. However, everything was packaged securely, and thankfully no damage. The silicone on the sump and display tank look great. The cabinet is a beast, but a few holes had not been drilled for the cam locks which required me to do so.

Overall, I would recommend Waterbox, but do hope the QC and customer communications improve.
Had the same issue with one hole that attached the top of the cabinet. The only one I noticed.
