I recently setup my new waterbox 190 skimmer and I am not seeing any boost in pH on my system. I have it hooked up to my CO2 scrubber, but it seems to be pulling air from leaks around the air silencer. Has anyone else had this issue? I am not sure if I should try to seal this somehow or if there is something else going on.

recirculate it overnight and retest, if you have good surface movement it will cover the gas exchange overnight. then retest PH

CO2 scrubber isnt some magical product that would instantly raise your pH once using it with your skimmer. It takes time for your system dissolve the o2 into the system and slowly raise the pH. Give it a few days to a week and monitor your media and change them out as it turns purple (depending on which co2 scrubber you buy)

Also, if you dont see any increase at all, it could either mean your co2 scrubber is depleted, the reactor you are using isnt effective enough to remove all the co2, or something else is the problem that causing the low pH.
