Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Installed 2 WAV pumps and the left pump is just doing a half second spin then off for for like 3 seconds. Right pump is doing a consistent spin. I have it programmed to only one point on the chart now cause I was trying to figure it out and ending up deleting the other points to make it easier. Left pump programmed as the lead pump and right is supposed mirror it. I thought I followed the setup guide step by step so not sure what I missed. Any help is appreciated! !

For starters, you need multiple points. I'm surprised it even let you save the setting with only one point. So for example, if you only had a point at 2pm and another at 4pm, it would only run for those two hours between the two points. If you just want the same intensity and same mode throughout the entire day, then you only need two points... one at "0" and one at "24".

Here's mine for example: I want it to run for 24 hours, but I want the intensity to vary throughout the day... thus the need for multiple points.

Thank you. I. Going to try it again however I had it setup like that and it was still doing the same thing. Actually even when I had it set on the default program it had when first installed it was still doing that. I must of done something else wrong but just can't figure it out

First just try something simple like Mavericks... just do two points, one at "0" and one at "24". Just set it at like 10%. Do the same exact thing for both the left and the right pumps. Start there and let me know how it goes. Once you confirm they are working properly, then you can start in with the inverse setup in pulse mode.

Still not working. It's almost like the pump is stuck in some alert mode or something. It ticks for a split second barely even spinning around once then stops for few seconds. Sounds like a ticking.

Both of them do the same thing with the same exact setting?

No the left one is the one just clickingot not really spinning. The right one just stay a constant spin at the same intensity no matter what I change it to. It must be stuck in a safety mode. I really don't know I had to leave for work so I'll mess with it later but I have no idea what it could be

Did you check to make sure that your 1LINK and both WAVs have the current firmware?

Aren't the WAV pumps supposed to have a sensor to shut down if it detects things like if a snail gets inside or if they fall? It almost sound like something is causing it to trip. Maybe take it out and see if there's anything in the way of the propeller, or try orienting it slightly differently in the tank. It's also possible that you just got a bum unit.

Curious what happened with this thread as my WAV pumps shut off and on, yet I have them as they should always be running and no idea why this is happening!

Sorry never came back once I figured it out. I had to re set it as in its home spot. I guess I moved it after it was on or bumped it and it threw it into a safety mode is my best guess. Soon as I reset it in the position I wanted it it started working as normal

If it's doing what mine was doing which was just clicking on and off then this might work for yours too. You have to type the apex s ip adress in your Web browser and it pulls up your home screen. There you will see if your pumps are updated as well as be able to set it in its home position
